Join our team as a Lead Production Operations Engineer and join a global innovative technology leader with a strong presence in Pune , India.Job Summary Retail Solutions is seeking a full time Sr. BI Engineer to design and develop large - scale data warehousesystems and build analytic tools based on MPP Database(Vertica) , as well as the Azure cloud and Bigdataplatform (Hadoop , Spark , Hive etc.). This position is based in Pune , but he / she need to do closecommunication with colleagues from other countries (US , UK , China).Responsibilities and Duties Design and implement DW and applications , these relate to ETL , data modeling , design SSAS Cube (MOLAP , ROLAP , Tabular) , building analytics tools(RI , RV , Tableau , Power BI etc.) based on data warehouseFollow best - practice , coding guidelines and work independentlyPerform data validation , troubleshooting and performance tuningWork in an Agile Scrum team to ensure fast and good quality deliverablesSupport operation team for production live issues , provide proactive ownership and timely resolution of production issuesQualifications and Skills Bachelor degree in computer science or relevant disciplines , minimum 5 years related working experienceProven experience in data warehouse and good knowledge of relational database , like MSSQL , OracleExcellent skills in programming PythonExperience in Microsoft Power BI is preferredExperience in SSAS cube (MOLAP , ROLAP , Tabular Model) and MDX / DAX query is a preferredExperience with Cloud Computing , MPP data warehouse preferred: Vertica , Redshift , Snowflake etc.Experience in Hadoop , Spark related project is preferredExperience in any of the following technologies is a plus: Cloud (Azure , AWS etc.) , Microservice , Message Queue , ContainersStrong analytical and technical skills and demonstrated ability to creatively solve complex problemsGood oral and written communication skills in English are requiredTeam player with experience in collaborating cross - team and cross - location to ensure project delivery , customer focusedABOUT RETAIL SOLUTIONS , INC.: Retail Solutions , Inc.
