Job Description

Role Overview If you have years of experience working with large data sets and want to use your skills to do high impact work this role is for you. The Senior Data Manager will work across CSH projects to manage and analyze large volumes of survey and government data sets to provide meaningful inputs for improving program implementation. Core Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing data collection systems on CAPI
  • Cleaning, organizing, restructuring large volumes of data and maintaining large databases
  • Designing and running data quality checks and monitoring the efficiency of field operations
  • Designing automated systems for recurring data cleaning, transfer to our messaging platform and analytics
  • Providing ongoing reports on data quality and surveyor performance
  • Coordinating with program teams to improve operational efficiency and data quality
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Identifying and recommending critical feedback for process improvement
Who We re Looking For:
  • A Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Demonstrated expertise in Stata/R or other analysis software preferred
  • Ability to identify and clearly communicate data problems and their implications to members of the field and leadership teams
  • Experience generating rapid data analysis report for internal and external reporting purposes
  • Strong interest in doing high-impact work
  • Flexibility, motivation, and ability to work independently and in a team setting
Preferred qualifications:
  • An understanding of empirical economic analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing surveys using SurveyCTO or other CAPI platforms
Other details:
  • Salary range: $2000-$4000 USD per month ; commensurate with skill set and experience
  • Start date is flexible
  • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
