Job Description

Job Summary:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create Data models including conceptual, logical and physical for data systems like MSSQL, Oracle RDBMS, and OLAP
  • DB Administration, back up and recovery, Optimization, cloning, replication, upgradation and patching
  • Provide leadership and guidance for developing and maintaining application architecture and development standards which adhere to industry best practices
  • Develop standards and design solutions for data acquisition, integration and transformation that are scalable and reliable
  • Databases to be designed to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability

Experience: 5+ years

Tools: Must Have: MS SQL Server, SSIS, ERWin, TOAD, Oracle

Good to Have : Informatica, Tableau, Jira, SSRS, Power BI, Windows Server

Technologies/Concepts: Data warehousing, Data Modelling, T - SQL, ETL, RDBMS, Optimization techniques

Skills:

  • 5+ Years of total IT Experience with 5+ Years experience as DB Developer in the data space spanning data modeling, integration, ETL and building Data warehouse ecosystem
  • 3+ years of experience working with databases, T - SQL and ETL (Microsoft SSIS) tools
  • Hands - on exposure to relevant data technologies such as RDBMS, Data Warehousing, Online Analytical Processing, In - Memory Databases, Structured File Formats, Data Modeling Tools
  • Strong Experience in SQL databases like MSSQL/MySQL, and Oracle
  • Experience gathering, analyzing system requirements and installing/configuring DB setup (MSSQL/MySQL)
  • In - depth understanding of database structure principles
  • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Hands on experience on Data Modelling tools like ERWin, TOAD, PowerDesigner
  • Experience with logical schema and physical database modeling
  • TSQL fine tuning skills, experience in managing large data sets and optimizing the data integration packages for high performance
  • Should have exposure to define database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, backup, and recovery specifications
  • Initial experience/exposure as a Data Architect is a plus
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology
