Job DescriptionData Quality Platform ( DQP) provides MIS / Data infrastructure that can be leveraged enterprise- wide and meets regulatory requirements for Data Quality. DQP standardizes the measurement process across disparate systems and data flows, to provide an enterprise- wide view of quality metrics within firm s data assetsThis position requires strong Microstrategy design and development knowledge and must have proven work experience implementing or supporting Microstrategy in large global organizations. As part of the reporting team, will need to work with cross- functional teams to understand the business needs and to assess Microstrategy development feasibility and impact to other business processes, integrations, or security Technical Skills8+ years of experience as a Microstrategy Developer ( including version 10. x or higher) 8+ years with Microstrategy dashboard development and reports development8+ years of experience in Mobile dashboard and Adhoc reports using object promptsThe candidate should have working knowledge of database concepts and SQL ( oracle preferred) Experience with data analysis and modelingAble to act as the team leader by delegating duties to developers and providing support Comfortable balancing conflicting priorities to meet specific deadlines Excellent communication skills are essential to this positionAbility to work flexible schedules to support US daylight ResponsibilitiesDeveloping intricate dashboards and reports that are visually appealing Creating complex report objects using free form SQLCreate/ Maintain/ Fix MSTR semantic layer ( metadata) Create highly optimized ( space and refresh time) CubesDesign MSTR security groups/ roles and integrate with central ticketing systemElicit, translate, and simplify requirements, and prioritize requirements and develop conceptual prototypes and pilotsDevelop and improve business requirements documents pertaining to data related initiatives Qualifications and Competencies: BE or MCA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent8 years or more of relevant industry experience, preferably in financial industry. Strong negotiation and influence skillsStrong analytical and project management skills required, in depth knowledge of SDLC, and thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirementsStrong communication skills, ability to run user prioritization forums, senior management engagements, and facilitate training programs spanning multiple time zonesAbility to thrive in a team- oriented, fast- paced environmentAbility to analyze data, create documents for senior audience, and create technical specifications to facilitate development, and coordinate production rolloutsProactively communicate and collaborate with the application clients to gather business and functional requirementsProven analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA motivated, self- directed, highly proactive attitude and approach.
