Job Description

Typical Duties

  • Designing and developing High end, high quality 2D and 3D Graphics designs in Instrument Clusters for our automotive customers
  • Design and Development of HMI screens using one of the HMI tool like Altia, CGI, GDT (Visteon internal)
  • Review and analyze requirements to create embedded software designs; implement the designs in C/ C++ and test software designs on a PC environment as well as on embedded target hardware
  • Create, document, and Execute unit, integration and functional testing of software builds
  • Write automation test scripts to verify HMI Screens
  • Analyze, resolve, and track defects to closure using IBM RTC
  • Document design and analyze implementation decisions and follow Agile Methodologies during the entire software lifecycle
Requirements Years of Experience

Degree Strongly Preferred : Bachelor s/Master s Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science

  • 3+ years prior experience in HMI development and HMI tool experience - Altia, CGI, GDT, EB Guide, kanzi, QT
  • Strong working knowledge of real- time graphics rendering tools and techniques
  • Exposure to OpenGLES and graphics related programming skills in GLSL
  • Exposure to 3D graphics development
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++
  • Significant experience in the development of embedded real time systems in automotive background Driver Information (Clusters) or Infotainment systems
  • Working level experience with CAN
  • Working experience on AUTOSAR preferable.
  • OS/Environment any embedded RTOS QNX is added value
  • Usage of Adobe studio
  • Quality Tools Coverity
  • Exposure to MISRA standards
  • Good communication skills and able to work with the global team

Desired Competencies/Experience

  • Experience in automotive or gaming industry
  • Experience with Rightware Kanzi
  • Experience in Unity, Unreal Engine or another game engine
  • Experience in 3D Graphics design tools like 3DS Max, Maya
  • Experience with Agile Software Development
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Compiler/Debugger Cross compilers, T32, ARM based debugger
  • Microcontrollers/Processors Renesas RH850, V850, ARM, Cypress
