As a Senior Industrial Embedded Engineer with Maersk, , you would be senior member of development team leading the design and development of digitization solution for our assets. Your tasks will among other things include the following: Build, test and run scalable IOT solutions for various devices, PLCs and Embedded systems deployed in Terminals, Fleet of vessels and containers. Deeply understand our customer needs and business problems. Apply your knowledge of technologies that can deliv-er enterprise solutions and outcomes for our customers. Gained practical experience by working on IoT use cases and IoT services on major cloud providers. 8/32 Bit Microcontrollers/Microprocessors/SoC Hands-on Strong C, C++ development experience RS232/RS485, USB, Wifi, Bluetooth, ZigBee Developing and debugging experience (including in Linux) Good to have python programming Knowledge on GitHub or any version control tools. Ability to read schematics and interpret device data sheets for the purpose of developing low level software. Proficient use of advanced development and debugging tools, e.g., C compilers, GIT, GCC, IAR, analyzers, etc. Strong Python Scripting experience. Communication protocols (MODBUS, UART, SPI, I2C) Wireless networks and communication protocols (Zigbee, BLE, etc.) Cellular data communications (GSM, NBIoT, LTE-M). Demonstrated experience with open-source development, especially for embedded OSes such as Zephyr, eCos, uC/OS or FreeRTOS Excellent communication skills Demonstrates strong domain-specific knowledge regarding Target s technology capabilities, and key competitors products and differentiating features. Capability to select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements for any IoT use cases. Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms Understanding of Key IoT concepts, Device Bootstrapping and Provisioning, Device Management, IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP etc), Data ingestions etc. Excellent Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organization in English.
