Educational qualifications BTech / BE / MTech / ME in Electronics / Instrumentation / Control Systems Experience - Responsibilities / Expected Capabilities - Setup and review strategical Safety Plans and derive the schedules according to the project milestones Choose, tailor, review and control the methodical aspects of safety relevant projects Perform requirements analysis from Functional Safety Concepts, create and review technical safety concepts. Develop the architecture concepts together with the system engineer including the safety aspects Support the system engineer to derive system safety requirements and help sharing it to the disciplins (software and hardware). Support creation and review of software architectures and Software Design Creating / Reading safety analysis such as FMEDA and FTA and make decisions for additional measures Assess implementation risks and decide about possible solutions Analyze complex problems in own projects and find right technical resolution. Present Functional Safety status of the respective projects Demonstrate understanding of the Automotive Industry requirements for one product type at least Use conceptual thinking: abstractization, modularity, reusability. Knowledge of organization defined development technologies, tools and methods. Provide inputs for improving the Fuctional Safety Process Coaching new employees on basic skills for functional safety technics and processes according to ISO 26262 Use own judgment in selecting methods and techniques. Resolving issues using practical experience as well as coming with new solutions. Communicate and coordinate others technical tasks, to work in one or more projects simultaneously and independently. Organize and lead regular team meetings Organize and plan project deployment for the team members Escalate problems according to the companies escalation process to the corresponding FS product group lead Participate in MQ Global - FSE meetings (communicate status of the Pune Location and provide solutions)
Technical Skills - Knowledge about SafetyStandards Excellent knowledge about ISO 26262 - Certified Functional Safety Professionel or similar Certification Knowledge in Safety architecture concepts (Redundent concepts, diversity, sigle channel concepts) Knowlege in Safetymechanisms (Integrity, Monitoring, Diagnostics, Detection, Redundancy, Interfaces) Knowledge about safety analysis methods (FMEDA, FTA, CCA, Methods to analyze SW-Architectures) Ability to read the hardware schematics and to figure out the critical paths Process Knowledge acc. A-SPICE Programming Language C or similar CANoe nice to have Embedded systems Controller knowledge
