Job Description

  • The Integration Developer from the Vodafone UK IT Integration domain will own the design, development & unit testing of agreed solutions assigned to him/her for each release.
  • He / she will be responsible for high quality and optimized integration solution delivery in the sprint timelines with good right-first-tim e index. Shall be responsible for thorough unit testing of the deliverable to e nsure minimal defect occurrence in end-to-end testing and avoid rework andlost time.
  • The candidate should be a proficient software engineering professional with a good understanding of SOA patterns, Integration design and development w ith knowledge of RESTful API design, along with significant experience of indus try leading integration suites and API gateway solutions, preferably including TIBCO or Oracle FMW suites.
  • He / she should also have some experience in envir onment setup, management activities and deployment processes. He / she should b e open to support in UK shift or on weekends depending on project needs.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
  • &nb sp; Implement high quality solutions for integration dom ain as per user stories in scope that are assigned.
  • &n bsp; Ensure right first time delivery to minimize defect s and rework.
  • Ensure cod e build, deployment & versioning standards are followed for every deliverab le.
  • Provideall the nece ssary support for testing and deployment activities.
  • & Maintain & support the integration domain envi ronments while also adhering to all applicable standards and guidelines.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
  • &nbs p; Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a SO A/Integration software engineer with proven hands on design AND development cre dentials.
  • Experience wit h scripted build and deploy tools (Maven/Jenkins), perl scripting, linux & environment setup.
  • Profi cient on TIBCO products (EMS7.x / 8.x, BW 5.x/6.x, Active Spaces, APIX) and/or Oracle FMW (AIA PIP, SOA, OSB 11g/12c etc.) products, XML standards.
  • &nb sp; Goodexperience with application/i nternet gateways, core Java programming, JMS, Oracle SQL, caching techniques, e ncryption standards.
  • Goo d understanding of eTOM, AGILE methodology and general SDLC. Ability to communicate effectively within a large technical practice.
