Job Description Summary:-Under general supervision, works on moderately complex IT architecture projects with full competency. Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces. Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system. Recommends appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy.-We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Architecture & Engineering team to take end to end ownership of Solution & Service development and delivery for our Public Cloud StrategyThe Architecture & Engineering team is part of Wolters Kluwer Global Business Services (GBS). GBS is designed to provide services to the business units in the areas of technology, sourcing, procurement, legal, finance, and accounting which includes our North American-Accounting Center. These global centers promote team collaboration using best practices around a specific focus area to drive results and enhance operational efficiencies. There is a constant endeavor to benchmark against best-in-class industry standards to improve the quality of deliverables, increase cost savings, enhance productivity and reduce time to market for products and applications.As a Senior Enterprise Architect you will develop Public Cloud Technologies based services and solutions for enhancing our business agility. This role is globally focused and you will be working with an established Architecture team consisting of more than 20 Architects. In this role you will be expected to work within a Matrix based organization and have strong collaboration and communication skills.You will be aligned to our Strategic Programmes which is transforming how we develop our infrastructure environments and solutions for the Public Cloud across all Wolters Kluwer divisions. Within this context, as a Senior Enterprise Architect you will take ownership for the end to end delivery of projects / services through a defined delivery lifecycle framework and in accordance with our strategic vision.You will be ensuring the Strategic fit of these Services through an existing Architecture Governance Framework, where you will be expected to champion your services through review milestones.Tasks and responsibilitiesStrategy and Architecture:

• Uses appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas. Produces detailed component specifications and translates these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products. Provides advice on technical aspects of system development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly.
• Applies appropriate techniques in the transformation of data from one format/medium to another, in line with organisational policies and procedures and being sensitive to risks around the use of information.
• Promotes and ensures use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools.

Change and Transformation:

• Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation.
• Uses established techniques as directed to identify current problems and elicit, specify and document business functional, data and non-functional requirements with clearly-defined boundaries.

Development and implementation:

• Works within pre-defined solution development projects which support the organisations objectives and plans. Ensures that senior management is both aware of and able to provide the required resources. Contributes effectively to improving solution development processes within the organisation justified by measurable business benefits. Facilitates availability and optimum utilisation of resources, especially in Agile projects. Monitors and reports on the progress of development projects, ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures (including secure software development). Applies secure development improvement practices.
• Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems. Delivers technical visualisation of proposed infrastructure and applications for approval by customer and execution by infrastructure engineers and/or system developers.
• Works within a virtual team or sprint team, providing expert technical knowledge in the systems testing of platform-specific versions of the software products, on varying platforms. Provides specialist guidance information to support, systems testing and quality assurance functions to assist in improving procedures.
• Specifies and designs complex hardware components/ systems. Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise policies, and ensures they are applied effectively. Peer reviews others designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and effective integration of multiple systems and technology. Contributes to policy for selection of components. Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and assesses and manages associated risks. Ensures that hardware designs balance functional, service quality, security, systems management and sustainability requirements.
• Takes responsibility for the end to solution within defined projects, providing effective technical leadership, including information flow to and from the customer during project work. Monitors the effectiveness of installations and ensures that appropriate recommendations for change are made.

Delivery and Operation:

• Contributes to the availability management of their solutions and its operation and performs defined availability management tasks. Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability. Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels. Implements arrangements for disaster recovery and documents recovery procedures. Conducts testing of recovery procedures.

Relationships and engagement:

• The identification, analysis, management and monitoring of relationships with and between stakeholders. (Stakeholders are individuals, groups, or organisations who may affect, be affected by, or perceive themselves to be affected by decisions, activities and outcomes related to products, services or changes to products and services).

Your profile:-Education

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field would be preferred
• Azure Certified Architect and / or Amazon Certified Architect

Required experience

• A minimum of 10 years IT Experience of which at least 5 years within an Architecture Role
• At least 2 year s as a Senior Enterprise Architect supporting the migration of infrastructure resources to the Public Cloud (Azure and AWS).
• Recent experience within Architecture, Design and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable solutions, including Disaster Recovery.
• A working experience in develop Services through an ITIL based framework
• A working experience in an enterprise wide Architectural governance, architecture decisions, exceptions, standards etc.

Desired Experience

• A minimum of 2 year s leadership experience
• A working knowledge of Information Security and how to implement technologies to provide compliant solutions
• Experience developing complex business and cost models.
• Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management

• Architecture Certification: TOGAF, Open Group, ARCHIMATE, ZACHMAN, etc.
