Job Description

Role purpose

  • Responsible for billing & revenue accounting process for TowerCo business where he/she will be responsible for daily execution of transactions in rating engine and REFX, day to day operation of billing and revenue accounting process in compliance with MSA and relevant Accounting guidance.
  • Role require person to keep record of all transactions data, tab on changes needed in system to complete monthly billing and revenue accounting
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and technical knowledge to provide analytics of billing, accruals, revenue and deferment to management for decision making.
Key accountabilities
  • Responsible for execution of daily transactions posting and day to day operation activities in Rating engine, REFX and billing process.
  • Ensure to deliver timely and accurate monthly billing process and revenue accounting within the agreed month end timetable
  • Ensure rating engine is always updated with relevant and changes conditions data base as per MSA
  • Perform month end closing task and provide MEC
  • Raising monthly space lease out, energy and other services invoices to LM and reconciliation of the same
  • Intercompany reconciliation of lease revenue, cost, receivable and payable between LM and TowerCo and resolve differences
  • Maintain conditions data in rating engine and REFX system based on information from LM
  • Prepare all account reconciliations with aged items and reasoning for review
  • Provide analysis of the results to the business, giving insight into the drivers behind the trends.
  • Sub-leasing accounting in REFX and raising billing invoices.
  • Ensures the correctness and completeness of OL and Z4 ledger balance sheet accounts of Towaco
  • Provide support in statutory and internal audit
  • Prepare SOX controls documentation for agreed RCM for billing and revenue process

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • B.com/M.Com/Inter CA with 4-6 years of experience
  • Good accounting knowledge specially in Intercompany, billing and Revenue Accounting
  • Team Leader, Team player with positive attitude.
  • Should have financial and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the mobile telecommunications industry is an advantage.
