Job Description

We are looking for a full stack engineer who can move quickly between Windows, Mac, frontend, backend, networking, native development, and much more. In this role, you will play a significant part in helping to craft and guide the future of Cloud Gaming experience for our GeForce Now application.The Full Stack role provides technical leadership within the application tier of a multi-layer application architecture. You will serve as the technical domain authority for development spanning across multiple applications and product lines.GeForce NOW is NVIDIAs Cloud Gaming service streaming games at the highest quality to any and every user regardless of their device types and capabilities low-end PCs, Macs, or mobile devices. Using the most advanced GPUs and software, GeForce NOW transforms the gaming experience with always up-to-date games on always the latest hardware, a streaming experience rivaling that of a local PC, and near-instant launch just click and play!   • Design and Deliver high performance applications for desktop and mobile platforms
  • Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products leveraging frameworks such as Angular & React
  • Work closely with operations for reliability and scalability of our featues
  • Work with backend architects to build RESTful APIS
  • Web or mobile application development with variety of languages but not limited to using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Develop and optimize front-end UI to ensure applications are rendered consistently in cross-platform environments.
  • Develop complex, responsive native and web applications
  • Optimize application for maximum performance, reliability and scalability
  • Build front-end code templates using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON/XML as well as JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery AngularJS, React, and GruntJS, Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF)
  • Provide technical leadership to fellow engineers, designers, and other partners to develop and maintain GeForce Now.
  • Mentor engineers and review code and designs in a senior role.
  • Collaborate on design reviews with Architects on the team
What we need to see:
  • B.E./MTech Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of working experience in end user facing application development
  • Should have a proven work portfolio of cross platform and scalable application for end users
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience presenting with and handling the expectations of both technical and non-technical partners
  • Extensive experience consuming RESTful webservices
  • Create configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments, application deployment, web security
  • Experience with distributed source control systems Git, Jenkins
  • Proven passion for user experience design and improving usability
  • Strong working experience with Agile development methodology in real world projects
  • Hands on knowledge on application security
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Show previous experience with developing cloud-based applications at scale.
  • Knowledge of low level networking or OS internals (Windows, Mac, Android)
  • Demonstrate delivery of projects in previous roles.
