Primary owner for corporate Hyperion Essbase applications in production and development environments. This includes design, testing, implementation and maintenance of the application and improvements.Document any new requirements and propose and design new solutions or make modifications to the existing Hyperion set of Hyperion Planning and Essbase applicationsCoordinate/drive user acceptance testing, make recommendations around solution adoption and change management, and prepare the business for system readinessCreate and/or to maintain dimensions, security, web forms, variables, calculation scripts, and business rules.Assist end users with data validation and application useAddress and close Help Desk tickets assigned to the Support teamProvide end-user technical training and documentation support as neededWork closely with IT to investigate ERP data mapping issues and conduct routine maintenance (e.g. defragmenting cube, restarting services).Support maintenance of, and creation of new, Financial Reporting (FR) and SmartView reports for Planning and Essbase.Use Hyperion Calculation Manager and Essbase Administration Services (EAS) to create, update and maintain all metadata, load rules, business rules and calculation scripts to meet business requirementsSupport the modification/ creation of Planning web forms, task lists and other Planning objectsInitiate change controls for all Hyperion Planning and Essbase application changes along with associated documentation and testing.What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:Overall 1-3 years of experience in Production support/Application support. Has experience with Incident management system like Service now and able to triage the issues.Respond appropriately to stake holders. The suitable candidate Should be ready to work in Shift as required and should ready to work in DevOps model (a combination of development and production support)7+ years experience with Oracle Finance(ERP), General Ledger and AccountingMinimum 4+ years of strong development and support experience in - Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase
