Job Description

*Responsibilities

  • Support and guide in any metallic material and related manucturing topics.
  • Assess non-conforming parts and investigate potential manufacturing issues.
  • Failure analysis & Materials suggestions (Gland bridge, etc).
  • Create necessary material specification for parts/materials.
  • Create PMA as per the requiremen for new project (G1 EU).
  • Work with supplier for the manufacturing process like Casting/Forging to address Engineering needs.
  • Exploring possibilities of Additive manufacturing for Klok.
  • To support on material related aspects in RFQs, orders etc.
  • ECR disposition on material aspects.
, *Desired Educational QualificationMasters or PhD degree in Metallurgical Engineering/Metal Material Sciences/Material TechnologyTechnical Skills / Knowledge Required
  • Experience in mechanical product design industry.
  • Experience in the application of materials technology to a broad range of problems, especially in the design of Valves.
  • Experience with multiple facets of various manufacturing process castings, forging, machining, sheet metal etc.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with national and international material specifications (e.g. ASME, ASTM, EN, ISO, etc).
  • General knowledge in welding is desirable.
