P&S is made up of Human Resources, Staffing, Facilities and Real Estate, Corporate Security, and Community Relations. The team is accountable for business strategy and analysis across these functions.In this role, you will construct analyses that support decision-making at the corporate level. Day-to-day responsibilities will include structuring, analyzing and synthesizing data to report on key operational or people metrics (e.g., attrition and hiring) and drive progress at BMC.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree
  • Strong modeling experience in Excel; experience analyzing large data sets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex analyses and tie to actionable business insights
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with partners in IT, HRIS, Finance and Sales Operations
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Python/R) and/or BI software (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI) a plus
  • Experience working with technology or sales organizations a plus
Primary Job ResponsibilitiesWork cross-functionally with leadership, program managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and achieve business prioritiesExtract business requirements and develop measurement plans for strategic programsUnderstand business problems and take time to understand the detail to ensure accuracy in reportingCollect and analyze data through various sources, work to automate collection methodsInterpret data, analyze results using analytics techniques and provide ongoing reportsAdvance our current databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and qualityIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, reporting findings to VP P&SUse your technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, data cleansing, data extraction, and segmentation techniquesConvey data into easily-digestible and highly-visual dashboard applications and executive-level report deliverablesCollaborate with other analysts, providing exceptional customer serviceWorking with large data sets, translate abstract data into highly-visual and easily-digestible formatsRequired SkillsExcellent communication, organization, and time-management skillsAbility to interpret large amounts of data and handle multiple priorities at the same timeAdequate knowledge of data collection methodsWorking knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and miningPractical experience handling dataSolid knowledge of and experience with reporting packages like (e.g., Python/R) and/or BI software (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI) a plusSolid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy,
