Job Description

    • Functions as a member of the Global BCS organization, addressing technical product questions, resolving technical problems or advising customers on ways to reduce system outage.
    • Interact with customers who are of technical leadership or management rank, advising them in crisis situations.
    • Possess deep technical knowledge of all Veritas products in their competencies and in-depth knowledge of several products and/or platforms.
    • Complete certifications on Veritas products within their specialty along with certifications on operating systems, hardware and or network systems.
    • Ability to understand and provide high level technical support on Veritas Enterprise level products.
    • Assist technical support with case resolution as needed and available 24x7 to customers during high priority outages.
    • Ability to travel to the customer location and perform plans of action to resolve technical issues.
    • Deliver customized proactive services to assigned BCS customers.
    • Understand and communicate technical updates on open issues.
    • Develop strong relationships with internal personnel in all functional areas of Veritas
