Job Description

Senior Product OwnerLocation: Pune- IndiaJob Id: 20WD40745Position OverviewHave you been involved in software product development Do you speak the language of codes with same eloquence as business requirements Have some great ideas on how to make it better Come join us in developing the next generation, cloud-based, best in class data management system.As a Senior Product Owner, you will be working with various internal and external stakeholders to define product requirements for one or more initiatives and with communicating the same to development scrum teams to ensure fulfilment of the product requirements to maximize business value. The role provides a lot of autonomy and responsibilityResponsibilities

  • Work with and manage the needs of a range of stakeholders to clarify business and engineering requirements
  • Translate systems design and/or business requirements into actionable user stories, prioritize the stories and deliver releasable increments every sprint
  • Provide leadership to the development team, painting a vision for the future and breaking it down to delivery slices
  • Manage the team s delivery against multiple contending priorities
  • Follow the progress of work and ensure production issues get resolved with urgency
  • Foster engineering excellence and a collaborative culture
  • Ensure that requirements are met, and the development team is building the right thing for the customer
  • Effectively manage a growing product backlog and stakeholder expectations
  • Able to effectively run product backlog grooming, estimation and planning
  • Work with architect and development team to identify functional and non-functional requirements of product and break them down in to thinly sliced Epics and User Stories
  • Keep team unified, motivated, and connected to the goals of the organization
  • Continuously improve team processes and validate scope estimations
  • Identify detailed acceptance criteria for deliverables
  • Communicate status and deliverables to stakeholders and collect feedback for the development team
  • Create analytics to measure and continuously improve development initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in Web and Cloud Technologies and Product development
  • Able to manage a product using Agile/Scrum Principles
  • Experience working with product management on goals alignment and risks measurement
  • Humble, collaborative, team player, willing to step up and support colleagues
  • Effective communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to increasing knowledge and understanding of how to improve existing applications
  • Enthusiasm for cutting edge technologies, complex problems and building things
  • Excellent experience of Software Development Lifecycle, Quality Assurance
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and organization skills
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience on Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot or any of the Web & Cloud technologies
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or Advanced Scrum Product Owner
