Senior Project Manager Platform & QA Operations

Job Description

Facilitate daily bug triage meeting. Identify and keep track of customer timing requests for various incidents logged. Schedule and facilitate cross functional release push meetings Steward release features and fixes through lifecycle Executive -level communications of program and individual project status Project management for all sizes and types of projects Work independently to manage cross -program initiatives and projects Lead project meetings to collect status and drive actions to completion Provide regular status updates and escalate issues to the management team for active projects and releases that they own Identify and raise visibility to any critical issues that are at risk for not being addressed in a release in accordance with customer expectations Document processes and procedures for use within the product management group to ensure consistency across the team members Establish metrics and KPIs for projects and drive changes that will influence positive measures Identify and improve project release processes when and where appropriate Ensure that Engineering, Services, Compliance, Product Management, Operations, Security and other groups are represented at release planning activities and that each group has their points of view fairly considered in the scoping discussions Work with other members of the Product Management team to ensure feature requests and fixes are being evaluated and prioritized in a timely manner Drive effective teamwork and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities Escalate issues when appropriate to management for resolution when the cross -functional teams are unable to arrive at a mutually agreeable solution relating to product release schedule and scope Mentor junior team members Perform other duties as required Up to 10% travel required Skills and Requirements:

Technical degree (engineering and/or computer science preferred) Proven experience as a Project/Program Manager or other managerial position 5+ years of experience managing complex cross functional technology projects Self -starter, self -managed individual who can work independently and quickly adjust to changing priorities Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands Experience working in a distributed team environment Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment Ability to balance structure, process, risk management and time -to -market factors Software company experience where SaaS and/or cloud deployment environments are used ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification Desirable Areas:

Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation and group dynamics skills Past experience in a fast paced software environment Strong interpersonal skills including collaborating and team building Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills Familiarity with supply chain concepts related to shipping and receiving Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking tools Familiarity with Six Sigma and Scrum Experience with QA / Test Methodologies Familiarity with modern testing methodologies and techniques Experience with enterprise software: ERP, PLM, Workflow Systems, Document Management Systems Experience with platform systems such as SAP, Oracle, MatrixOne, Enovia, PegaSystems, Force.com, or SharePoint Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms Product serialization knowledge and related technologies (EPCIS) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
