Position: Senior QA Automation / Senior Test Automation EngineerExp: 7 To 10 yrsLocation: Pune or Remote ( they need to come to Pune office when client comes).Work mode: RemoteWork Type : Permanent Interview rounds 3 roundsN.P: Immediate JoinerLooking for only Product companies and healthcare domain experience with Mediclaims will be preferred.must have experience in Mobile Automation.Note: Excellent communication and need somebody who has exp working with onsite people.We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Test Automation Engineer that will drive our test automation initiative forward. The ideal candidate is an experienced automation engineer with strong and demonstrable experience building and maintaining automation frameworks and building scalable automation solutions that enable manual testers to build automation scripts.The ideal candidate will increase the automation usage and test coverage and lead to the build-out of a comprehensive automation test coverage aimed at preventing defect leakage into customer UAT and Production.Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automated test scripts using testing tools for Web and Devices (Selenium, Appium, Maestro, etc)
• Create automation & maintain automation scripts for functional, Integration/E2E, regression, and smoke-testing
• Develop repeatable, scalable and data-driven automated scripts that could be leveraged across multiple customer platforms and devices.
• Develop an automation framework that will enable manual testers to build automation scripts.
• Reviews nightly automation runs; analyzing results to identify potential issues.
• Establishes automation development process that includes automation approach, dependencies, hand-off process (manual testing to automation development) and deployment to CI/CD pipeline.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to drive automation coverage and approach. Collaborates with the Engineering and Data team to develop a mock/dummy data automation solution.
• Develop platform-specific automation scripts for Web, iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Platform teams to gain understanding of application architecture.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and report issues.
• Support manual testers involved in automation execution & review
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proven experience with building automation framework for Selenium and tools that support device automation , including script development, execution, and maintenance.
• Expertise in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience guiding testers on creating automatable test cases.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with databases (writing/executing SQL, understanding data models).
• Manipulating/handling data (Flat files, XML/JSon).
• Experience with API testing and tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to have experience:
• Experience with other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Maestro).
