Job Description

* Duties and Responsibilities - Risk Management Risk strategy development Scan macro environment, market, competition trends & proactively assess emerging risks. Adjust policies & interventions to manage emerging & forward-looking risk Identify parameters that have causality with risk. Develop/ refine risk policies, risk governance & reporting system for Credit Cards products as part of AOP & ensure adherence to prevent any kind of risks Ensure operationalization of risk framework & strategies through technology & workflow integration. Portfolio & risk assessment Define right metrices to measure & track risk across the entire credit lifecycle. Baseline each metric against the pre-defined appetite & ensure timely intervention when breach happens Review portfolio on periodic basis across various risk metrices, maintain portfolio quality by managing loss rates, conducting loss analysis, & work closely with functional teams, RCU, Collections & Business teams Oversee loss forecasting, provisioning, expected loss calculation & report it to regulatory & statutory auditors to remain compliant Risk mitigation Create scorecard to monitor risk parameters on a periodic basis, identify trends & plan mitigation actions by changing/ adding policy Analyse ground level feedback on market & portfolio by regular interaction & feedback mechanism with collection team to assess the portfolio strategy Publish risk data on a periodic basis to shareholders, business senior management to ensure timely corrective actions are taken for the business provide input to management on loss making segments, bottom performing portfolio Stakeholder Management Interact & present the risk health of the portfolio to Internal stakeholders. Simulate impact of any risk recommendations/actions for stakeholders to form a view on downstream impact in other processes Relationship management with credit bureaus & other risk capability partners Risk analytics & business intelligence Define roadmap to develop & deepen Risk Analytics, BI & customer segmentation capabilities. Develop scorecards across the different credit lifecycle. Assess & measure risk in terms of Probability of Default. Develop & simulate scenarios for optimal & informed decision making by Risk Managers. Own the risk data infrastructure. Define Risk System of Records, ensure all dimensions & measures are available to deliver on the Risk BI & Analytics need. Drive data led Innovations & strategies for customer acquisitions & relationship management across the risk management lifecycle Loss Forecasting & Provisions Loss Forecasting based on Expected Credit Loss (ECL) methodology prescribed by regulatory bodies. This includes modelling of PD (Probability of Default), EAD (Exposure at Default) & LGD (Loss Given Default), leading to calculation of loss reserves. Supplement the ECL calculation with economic models for stress tests & ensure its robust documentation. , * a) Qualifications Master s in business administration / Post Graduate in mathematics/ statistics background Experience in Credit Risk & Fraud Analytics, Loss Forecasting & Reserve methodologies etc. Underst&ing & appreciation of statistical concepts, tools & techniques Underst&ing & appreciation of programming Good communication & presentation skills. Technical Knowledge & Skills on: SAS, SQL, Decision Tree, R, Python etc. b) Work Experience Minimum 15 year of work experience in Banking & Lending (B2C) Underst&s the IND-AS, IRFS & Basel norms Knowledge of principles in risk management (life cycle management of customer credit) Underst&ing of Business rule engine/ basic skill on coding & analytics Knowledge of IT related processes, platform being leveraged for risk management
