Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience., Oracle is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software programs for Oracle database, application tools, etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. These are modern, intuitive and mobile-friendly/responsive web applications, designed to run on Oracle DB and utilize many cutting edge Oracle technologies to interact with our various systems like Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Oracle Fusion and others.Responsibilities================- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure- Configure and maintain application software and system management tools- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructureavailability- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identifypossible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency andautomation of tasks- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems- Coordinate with Development and Release TeamsRequirements- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject- 5 to 6 years of software development experience- Strong experience in Oracle SQL, PLSQL with integrations among multiple systems- Experience in Webservices- Experience in developing and troubleshooting UI applications using Oracle APEX, HTML, OJET/React JS, Java, Javascript, Angular JS applications is a plus- Experience with UNIX shell scripts and configure with software/tools(Jenkins,confluence,sonarcube)- Investigate Seed/Metadata, application translations and provide support- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills- Understanding of Oracle RAC, Weblogic (WLS), Webgate, Apache/OHS- Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python) is a plusOther skills:- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills necessary.- Ability to effectively share technical information, contribute towards design anddevelopment- Self-starter and motivated with ability to work in a fast paced RapidApplication Development environment.- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.- Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selectionand implementation.- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking- Capacity to embrace changes, adapt to new technologies- Ability to handle multiple development tasks and assignments simultaneously
