DescriptionThe Senior Software Developer you are responsible for creating, developing and installing attractive and innovative software solutions that are powerful, easy to use, highly customizable & reusable. Work with customers to understand needs for highly tailored design solutions. Work with our cross-functional teams of analysts, developers and graphic designers to translate business objectives into prolific visual concepts and innovative solutions that are powerful, easy to use and highly customizable.Develop machine control software using new technologies such as C# and .NET (this could include UI, business logic or motion control components based on development goals and experience.)Confer with customers; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.Participate in software code inspections and collaborate to ensure designs and implementation meet quality expectations.Produce high quality documentation to support the maintenance and review of the software to clearly communicate the quality of the product.Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.Collaborate in the troubleshooting and determination of root cause of failures.Collaborate with Firmware development team to smooth software development process.Participate in development efforts and support services to facilitate current business needs.Analyze and create written documentation to support the design.Represent Omron Automation in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner., RequirementsEducational Qualifications
