Position DescriptionSoftware Engineer will be part of the development team developing applications based on Java based Web technologies. Engineer is expected to be able to develop programs based on functional specifications and design document. Must Have Skills: 4 to 6 years of experience Java & Web Technologies Experience developing commercial browser based 3 tier applications Experience with Java, J2EE, SpringMVC framework, Webservices Experience with application servers like Jboss, Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat Experience with RDBMs like MSSQL, MySQL, etc. Should have designing skills Preferred Skills: At least 3 year of experience with J2EE & 2 years with Spring Framework Some formal education in Computer Science theory ( BE/ Btech, Comp Sci, MCS, GDST from NCST, CDAC) Professional Skills: Excellent communication skills ( verbal and written) Should possess time management skills and should be able to work under serious deadlines The candidate should have an ability to work in a team environment as well as work individually, should be a self- starterEmtec is an Equal Opportunity Employer,
