Job Title: Senior Software EngineerExperience: 8 to 10 yearsResponsibilities: Responsibilities include the design, development, testing and documentation of the iModel file format, a SQLite based format for storing CAD and BIM data. - Design new features or updated functionality based on goals from product management, user issues and challenges encountered by other developers. - Experiment with and produce evaluations of new database mapping, data modeling and conflict resolution strategies. - Develop software in a fast paced environment where your software is delivered to production cloud, desktop and mobile environments on a weekly basis - Test all developed software as developed including unit tests, integration tests and large scale end to end and performance tests. - Maintain file format compatibility at all costs. - Support schema designers modeling data that will be stored in an iModel. - Manage and mentor team of highly skilled software developers.Qualifications: - Technical background: - Very strong in modern C++ (C++ 11 and higher) required. - Experience with Node.js, TypeScript or JavaScript a plus. - Experience with SQL databases required, ORM experience a plus. - Bison and Flex experience a plus.Communication and teamwork: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. - Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity. - Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
