DescriptionThe role of our Software Engineer is to design, analyze, and build software applications for Fisher FIELDVUE instrument products and technologies.Essential Functions:Develop software applications using best practices on an Agile teamReview teammates codeHelps to plan and road-map new features and functionalityPerform software quality assurance testingPerform technical support activities as assignedAssist with other project activities as assigned by management, RequirementsHands on experience with programming languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java, etc.)Hands on experience with front-end languages (e.g. HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, etc.)Working knowledge of version control (e.g. Microsoft Team Foundation Server)Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, analysis, and designExcellent software development skillsExperience with the complete software development life cycle and QA processes in an Agile environmentStrong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsThe ability to contribute in a team environmentAdditional desired experience:Mobile Development Experience (iOS, Android, UWP)Xamarin/Xamarin.FormsExperience with NoSQL DatabasesExperience with HART and Foundation Fieldbus technologies
