Job Description

    DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to help in supporting next generation Security Analytics product.Working with a team of engineers and security analyst, you will be responsible for Application support 24/7, monitoring a highly scalable SaaS based Security Analytics productThis is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a team building Qualys next generation Micro-Services based technology platform processing over a 100 million transactions and terabytes of data per day, leverage open-source technologies, and work on challenging and business-impacting projects. Responsibilities:
    • You will be doing Application support for 24/7 of NextGen Security Analytics Product in the cloud from ground-up.
    • You will be monitoring performance of highly scalable microservices and data processing pipelines.
    • You will be supporting on Java based microservices , ELK , Kafka, Hadoop components
    • Researching, implementing, Adoption of new monitoring technologies.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate in Computer Science or equivalent
    • 6+ years of experience in supporting SaaS applications.
    • 2+ years of experience in supporting Java, Kafka related application.
    • 2+ years of experience in supporting Kubernetes, Docker based application.
    • 2+ years of experience in Elastic search .
    • Strong logical skills for debugging and implementation.
    • Experience in streaming applications and delivering scalable solutions.
    • Experience in Linux and shell scripting.
    • Good knowledge of SQL, advanced data structures.
    • Should be well versed with Java .
    • A good team player, Self-motivated, go-getter, passion for learning, strong communication skills.
    Good to have:
    • Basic Knowledge of Apache Flink, Siddhi queries.
    • Knowledge of Big Data technologies Hadoop, or any other Search.
    • Knowledge of distributed query engine.
    • Knowledge of security devices,logs, networking is big plus.
