1. Scala Programming language senior to expert level, hands on experience, experience in developing and designing solutions in Scala language, understanding and creating complex frameworks. Application area Data Engineering
2. PySpark senior level experience with Pyspark, best if on Cloud
3. Nice to have: Confluent Kafka
2. Job requirements:
1. As a part of the SCRUM team, she/he will be responsible for developing/enhancing framework written in Scala which orchestrates data pipelines based on PySpark (transforming data from the Landing zone to the model and visualization layers)
2. Participation in implementation of the data pipelines
- We need someone that is able to act as an architect and not executing isolated work packages- The client stakeholder this person will work with, is a very senior Scala developer thus we need an understanding of the Scala language including advanced topics like reflection, parallelism, code generation, meta-data-driven generation.- We are building a data platform that will ingest thousands of source tables.
