Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Customer QA Team. Team provides world class support to our GRID Enterprise customer. Candidate needs to work closely with customer team along with Engineering Team for upcoming Nvidia Products and featuresWhat youll be doing:

  • Provide software technical support to our Grid Enterprise customers.
  • Focus will be to reproduce customer reported issues and drive issue to closure.
  • Work Closely with SWPM, CPM and Customer team to drive customer issues and their queries.
  • Work closely with development team in their root cause determination, and verify reported defects are fixed.
  • Additional responsibilities include testing NVIDIA products on customer specific platforms to ensure compatibility and provide timely communication to cross-functional groups.
What we need to see:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in CS , Electronics, Software Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • 4 years experience with 2 years customer support or software/hardware test experience required.
  • Strong understanding of PC architecture
  • Sound knowledge of Linux OS and Virtualization.
  • Must have extensive experience building, configuring and troubleshooting PCs or laptop systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues a must.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Windows OS.
  • Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals
  • Ability to handle multiple customer accounts and analyzing of their issues independently.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills and should be able to drive customer issues independently.
  • Experience testing or strong knowledge of graphics, audio, video, networking, display , gaming and/or storage preferred.
  • Should have good knowledge of debugging tool, memory dump analysis and remote debug.
  • Should be able to contribute in quality improvements through bugs and OEM Test plans
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Proven leadership experience desired.
  • The Candidate should be willing to work in flexible hours.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Familiarity working with NVIDIA GPU hardware a strong plus
  • Prior experience in PC Game Testing will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience to Python and Automation
