We are seeking a Sr . Software Test Engineer( Blended) to join our growing team in Pune, India.
WHAT S YOUR IMPACT
Both manual and automated testing
Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently and i dentify opportunities to automate functional tests
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers , and Software Quality Engineer s in test plan creation execution to ensure proper test coverage and rigor
Serve as a test lead or point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards
Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers
Become a SME in the product domain
Map business and technical requirements into test cases and /or test scripts
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices
D ata analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
R eporting team/project metrics
IS IT IN YOU
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
8+ years direct experience supporting or testing major application product release
Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testin g
Experience with JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, or other open source/commercial market-leading solutions for functional, regression, or performance test automation
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with both on-shore and off-shore resources
Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong technical aptitude, time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Expertise working with one or both of C#/.NET ecosystem or Java/JVM ecosystem
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day activities
Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of C#/.NET or Java/JVM ecosystem
Experience with Azure and other Microsoft technologies
Experience with ERP solutions is a plus; preferably Plex or other manufacturing focused solutions
Knowledge of ASP (VBScript), ASP.NET (C#) or MVC
Knowledge of cloud-based automation
Experience with Jira/Confluence and qTest Manager
