Roles and Responsibilities: As a Senior Network Designer, you would be involved in the followingUnderstanding of requirements from Product Owners/Blue Planet Engineering teams in areas of L1 optical network, L2 Ethernet, L3 IP MPLS, IP packet forwarding and L2/L3 switching, IP Routing i.e. OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, EVPN, Segment Routing and L3 VPNsCreation of High level and low level designs for a given service/feature to be provisioned on a device in the networkGuide the team from both a network and device perspective. E.g L1, L2, L3 service configuration on the device, feature configuration on the device.Mandatory skills: A Cisco certified Network Associate and Cisco certified Network professionalHands on experience in Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 IP routing.Strong experience in Layer 2 Ethernet and Layer 3 IP MPLS network design.Exposure to Microservices Architecture based platforms and REST based APIs.12 - 14 years of Software Development Experience in any two of Java/Scala/Python involving Web TechnologiesExperience in TOSCA and YANG data modellingHands on experience in implementation of SDN (SD-WAN) and NFV technologies with CSP sHands on experience working with Vmware, AWS, Openstack.
