Main responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, application developers and systems engineers to ensure solutions fit within the overall architectural framework and resolve any conflicts.
Lead the process of scoping and designing technical solutions, including analysis of business requirements, evaluating business enabling technologies, defining system architecture, scoping resource needs, researching technical alternatives, identifying risks and recommending delivery approach.
Leverage the Corporate existing solutions as a basis and customize the design in order to meet specific client needs relevant to their own market and business environment.
Analyze, design, develop, test and implements complex, high performance, high throughput, and mission critical transaction systems for our global Enterprise Applications.
Prepare technical proposal, architecture design document and system design document, provide technical direction, and guide development teams in the delivery of technically challenging projects.
Lead in evaluating and prototyping new business enabling technology, translate business needs to technical requirements, prepare software and user interface requirement specification
Validate software deliverables to safeguard product quality and meet system requirements
RequirementsRequirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Postgraduate qualifications in a technical field will be an advantage
At least 10 years relevant experience in the development/ architecture capacity of software house to service industry
Hands-on experience in designing transaction processing systems with high scalability, throughput, fault tolerance, recoverability and maintainability
Sound experience in production support of high-volume/performance and mission-critical OLTP and OLAP systems
In-depth programming experience using various technologies, including Java, JSF, Servlet, J2EE, JSP, JQuery, XML, Ajax, iBatis, Spring WebServices, XML, Web Services, JMS, ORACLE PL/SQL, Mobile Android/iOS App, ETL, BI, Portal, Jasper/Crystal Report
Practical experience in using UML and related tools
Ability to communicate ideas and concepts and articulate where decisions might lead
Analytical thinking for problem-solving and translating business needs to technical requirements.
