Passion, rigour and drive are required. tAt Mastercard, Software Quality Engineers work directly with software engineers in small teams and are deeply engaged throughout the entire development process. They are directly responsible for ensuring great products and analytics for our clients. Innovation is also a key facet in the role. SDETs are expected to never settle for the status quo in how Mastercard approaches its testing challenges and always look for ways to accelerate or improve the testing tactics taken. Role: tExperience with at least one automation testing framework in building automation frameworks, acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating with other tools tBuild Testing Strategy, Test case development, Write E2E test scripts using Selenium and Protractor tDetermines the most appropriate and efficient testing method (manual, automated) and tools to prove completion of test and delivery of expected system results. tExperience with manual software testing is required. tWorks closely with software engineers to build quality by ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, early performance testing. tDevelops and implements QA standards, processes, tools and methodologies; partners with other functions to establish testing requirements tDocuments performance test strategies and test plans; translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing method. tIdentifies and implements complex automation efforts; replicates and resolves production issues for single application tMay manage medium-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or a larger initiative and assigns day-to-day work. tDirects evaluation of manual testing tools for automation opportunities tExperience with manual software testing is required.All About You: tPrior Experience in advanced code development, quality review software development, and automation frameworks tPrior experience of working on different testing techniques such as UI testing, Automated testing, Test driven development strategies etc. tExperience in Agile framework, unit testing libraries/framework, UI Automation Tool (Selenium), code management tool (Git), deployment tools (Jenkins) tUnderstanding of algorithms and data structures tExperience in designing and implementing automated testing infrastructure. t Raises process improvement opportunities, defines and implements simple automation efforts, and documents automated testing solutions tSplunk (desirable)Additional Qualities: Highly motivated professional with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Individuals who are curious, creative, and love open-ended problems Demonstrated analytical / quantitative aptitude Team first attitude, dedicated to team success Keen sense of prioritization Strong written and verbal communication skillsMastercard is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
