  • Learn complex technologies like backup/restore/snapshot/replication management quickly
  • Identify optimal solutions for complex user scenarios
  • Develop, debug and maintain complex software modules in backup/restore/data protection product on Unix/Linux and/or Windows platforms
  • Produce good quality code that is well tested
  • Propose & drive architectural design reviews & discussions.
  • Communicate with teams in remote geographies to understand issues or discuss solutions
  • Present technical topics in internal and external forums
  • Mentor, coach and lead junior software engineers in a technical lead capacity.
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:- 3 to 6 years of relevant development experience- B.E/ B.Tech /M.E / M.Tech / MCA from a reputed college.
  • Must have strong C/C programming skills
  • Must possess knowledge of Algorithms & Data Structure
  • Should have strong system level (UNIX System call, socket programming, Win32 APIs, multi-threading etc.) programming knowledge on Unix/Linux and/or on Windows platform
  • Must have good analytical skills to debug complex issues using various tools Unix/Linux/Windows platforms
  • Knowledge of Security technologies like SSL/TLS, Encryption/decryption algorithm, Secure Communications etc is big plus
  • Knowledge of storage technologies will be good.
  • Should possess Excellent communication and strong inter-personal skills
