Software EngineerAre you passionate about mission-critical distributed systems Do you like working to break or raise the quality of software systems that must be scalable and high-performance Interested in Storage technologies and taking a centrally strategic role in engineering them If so Join us as a Software Engineer in our Central Test Engineering team in Pune to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.Responsible for running and automating system and product level tests, filing defects, assisting in root cause analysis of defects, driving the resolution of defects, monitoring regression test case runs and lists, and assuming the role of the customer. To that point, you will be directly responsible in helping to prevent issues from reaching our customers.Software engineers at Dell PowerScale constantly push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of Big Data storage and distributed systems. You will get opportunity to work at every layer of the storage stack, including all aspects of operating systems and file systems, distributed algorithms, high performance protocol stacks, and next-generation virtualization technology.Buzz words: Distributed systems, concurrent programming, system test, load testing, scalability , Scale-out Storage, SSD, Flash, NAS, Cluster, SMB/NFS, OneFS File System, Quota, Dedupe, Snapshot, Cloud, AWS, Azure, Storage Management, Active Directory, LDAPYou will:
• Experience in Building frameworks and solutions that interact with the different layers of OneFS integration
• Review and implement test strategies for software products
• Participate in the preparation, review and evaluation of software/storage requirements and specifications
• Maintain tests and code in source control

• 3-5 years of software development and test experience.
Essential Requirements
• Good knowledge of programming languages; operating systems - Windows, POSIX, UNIX, Linux
• Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs using design specifications
• Experience in Test Automation using Python or JavaScript.
• Experience in Automation framework design and development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
• Experience in storage technologies like NAS, Flash Array.
• Knowledge of server, networking and client technologies
