Job Description

    ResponsibilitiesDesign, Code, Unit test, Deliver, Debug and maintains complex software modules in backup/restore/data protection product on Unix/Linux and/or Windows platforms.Develops, debugs and maintains complex software modules on Windows platforms.Ability to scale quickly on complex domains.Produces good quality code that is well testedSkillsRequires a BE/B. Tech degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or similarMust have strong C/C++ programming skills in the range of 3-5+ YMust possess knowledge of Algorithms & Data StructureMust have strong system level ( IPCs, multi-threading etc.) programming knowledge on Linux and/or Windows platformExperience with concurrent programming, scale-out distributed systems and test-driven development practices.Must have good analytical skills to debug complex issues using various tools Unix/Linux/Windows platformsKnowledge of storage technologies will be good.Should possess Excellent communication, strong inter-personal skills & comfortable across multiple geographiesExperience in working in Agile scrum teams.Good to have :Desirable development skills of REST APIsDesirable development skills using Python , AngularExperience on NoSQL databases, Docker/Containers, Microservices architecture is a plusKnowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, S3) and Cloud native workloads like SQL, RDSWhat you will be doing:You will be a member of NetBackup Cloud Solutions Product Engineering team delivering on the strategic road-map of an enterprise scale Cloud Solutions product. The team imbibes Agile Values and Principles. You will work with cross functional teams within engineering, product management, customer and usability groups.
