Now imagine building a messaging application which is also talking to a JIRA like ticketing system and the huge challenge of managing state while giving the user a smooth chat experience. Now throw in the fact that since we are an SDK, we dont use any off-the-shelf third party libraries to build all of these complexities. And we are installed on more than 2 Billion mobile devices. The Consumer Experiences team solves these challenges and more.About the Role:

  • Work with the rest of the team in developing SDK features that get delivered to 2B+ devices worldwide.
  • Write code and review other people s code.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Design and build features for our SDK for the iOS platform.
  • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of our SDK.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Collaborate with your team to define, design and ship new features.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization and test coverage.
  • Keep calm and learn everyday.
About You:
  • 5+ years of experience in writing iOS and React Native mobile applications.
  • Proficient with Objective-C or Swift.
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such NSURLSession, GCD, and NSOperations.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with networking stack, GCD & concurrency on iOS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
  • Proficient understanding of modern web tech stack including HTML5, CSS3 and client-side JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of frontend optimization techniques and tools (eg. Lighthouse).Proficient with Git (or equivalent).Experienced in writing Unit, Functional & Regression tests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Handy with the shell and automation tools.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
Nice to Have:
  • Good understanding of ReactJS and Flux.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and Gulp.
  • Experience in working with popular mobile SDKs
