Job Description

    Job TitleSoftware Engineer in TestOverviewMastercard is looking for a brilliant, passionate and innovative Software Test Engineer. In this role, you will be a key member of a highly agile group driving hard to create innovative payment solutions. This position is for a Software Test Engineer who is passionate about their work and wants to have an immediate impact on a growing platform.RoleIn this role you will:Drive Quality/Test strategy creation, integration testing and functional testing.Review project test and implementation schedules with a focus on test plans andacceptance criteriaDevelop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools and test suitesBe an integral part of the engineering team, collaborating to embedquality and testing standards as part of the development lifecycleBuild test automation frameworks using industry standard tooling.Mentor & provide guidance to the team in testing methodologiesAll About YouWe are looking for someone with:Experience debugging and testing Java/JVM based products/applicationsexperience in Performance engineering/testing and tools associated with it.Experience with current quality engineering and test automation tools and processes,including JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter or comparable productsExperience with test automation scripting (from scratch) with OOP languages using frameworks like Selenium.Experience working with and testing web applications built on front-end technologies suchas JavaScript, Angular, jQuery.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integratewith continuous integration (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover).COVID-19 ConsiderationsWe value the safety of each member of our community because we know were all in this together.
