As a software developer/engineer at Securly, you ll help build, optimize and maintain our infrastructure and applications that support millions of students and educators every day. You will work on production code and build rich feature sets that support the complex problems in education. Securly software developers excel at solving tough problems, collaborating well, and working in small teams to rapidly deploy solutions.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or higher degree in CS.3-6 years of strong programming experience in Python/ Golang with C or C++.Good knowledge of usage and programming on Linux systemsWorking knowledge of distributed systems, network and messaging protocols, high availability, scalability and related technologies.Hands-on experience on any additional scripting language is a plus.Experience in AWS is an added plus.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESEntails ownership of significant areas of the code for both new feature development and maintenance/redesign of existing areas of the product to accommodate rapidly evolving featuresContinuous focus and contribution in the areas of manageability, availability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the productActive participation in our ongoing process enhancements and software development practicesDevelop new user-facing featuresBuild reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityCollaborate with other team members and stakeholderWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
