Job Description

  • You will be working with product managers in a team of experienced developers to develop high throughput, low latency applications, and microservices and the data processing pipelines that power the core of our platform.
  • You will analyze requirements, design, estimate and implement your solutions, perform unit and integration testing, release code into production and monitor it in real-time till stability.
  • The code you write will be legible, tested and maintainable.
  • You will be investigating production incidents with urgency and fixing production bugs related to your projects.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance systems that are scalable and fault-tolerant.
  • Work on complex problems trying to deliver maximum results with limited time and compute resources.
  • Work in tandem with product and engineering team members to deliver clear and concise technical specs.
  • Deliver clear, readable, maintainable and testable solutions using Java technologies.
  • Quickly react to any production issues and come up with resolution and fixes.
  • Follow Agile SDLC.
,Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in implementing solutions using Java technologies.
  • Experience in Financial domain preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Hands-on coding abilities in Java technologies using open source frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with high performance, low latency, real-time systems.
  • Understanding of solution design using proven design patterns and awareness of anti-patterns.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing solutions using Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Security, Web Service, Integration).
  • Good understanding of Data frameworks like JPA, ORM (Hibernate, Anorm) and others.
  • Experience in database design, performance tuning and optimization of Relational (MySQL, Postgre) and NoSQL DB.
  • Strong knowledge of Micro services architecture concepts, API life cycle, API definition and discovery.
  • Practical experience in developing services that expose interfaces in GRPC, SOAP, GQL and REST.
  • Strong skills in TDD, creating integration and performance tests.
  • Practical experience in building CD/CI pipelines and deployment of containerized applications in cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in AWS infrastructure and strong development skills using AWS products such as ECS, RDS, Kinesis, ElasticCache, and others.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
