The position of Software Engineering Specialist reports directly to COM or above in Region and assists in the day - to - day operations of Kenan Billing System. Responsibilities fall into the following categories: Subject Matter Expert in Kenan Rating, Billing & Financials, Payments and Collections modulesGood knowledge in Kenan Front - End Order managementGood knowledge in Kenan product configurationAble to support development of integrating modules to Billing system. Handle products like Middleware, batch jobs and non - core customizationsRun Daily/ weekly checks and troubleshoot the issuesSolve tickets/ queries raised for Kenan operationsAutomations & DevelopmentAble t troubleshoot code base in C, C and JAVA. Technically strng in Shell Scripting and PL/ SQLRequirements AnalysisCnduct requirements gathering and analysis for a small module with limited supervisionPrepare IPA wrkshop materialsDesignDesign limited cmplexity module improvements with supervisionDcument own designConfigurationsCnfigure and integrate a limited complexity module based on the design documentTestingCnduct thorough unit testing on own configurationsCnduct thorough unit testing on other s configurations of some complexityCnduct full investigation on system anomalies Dcument all unit test cases, expected results and observed resultsFllow defect management process in identifying, investigating, and resolving defectsSupprt integration testing6 - 9 years of relevant experience in Kenan BSS operationsExperience in handling a team of onsite/ offshore resourcesCustomer facing experienceWillingness to work off business hours for critical issues.
