The selected candidate will work in a technologically challenging Linux / Unix environment on some of the emerging areas like Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, etc. The candidate will be responsible of testing applications in the above areas. Some examples could be File Systems, Virtualisation Platform, etc. Responsibilities: System configuration & trouble shooting across networks and clusters (on several OS, with advanced versions not released to market) Writing automated testing of features for the above systems - this could involve shell scripting / perl scripting Troubleshooting and AnalysisThe candidate is expected to have analytical and problem solving skill. He will be responsible for communicating problems in the product and co- ordinate to get them resolved. Requirements: 0- 2 years of experience in Linux and UnixExpected Technical Skills: System Level Understanding of LinuxUnderstanding of Shell Scripting / Perl ScriptingConcepts of Testing will be an added advantageSystem Administration Should posses sound knowledge of Operating system concepts (Linux/ Unix) EducationB.
