Software Quality Analyst IAssigned Recruiter(s)In-progressJob DescriptionA direct, full-time employment in a large, stable, and profitable company, with India operations for the past 7 + yearsPrivately owned company with no public debts and no downturn faced in the last 60 years of operationsAbove market compensation and benefits packageOpen door and highly ethical work culture, with due accountabilitySome of the responsibilities are:Understand a complex Logistics & Transportation management domain and systems in a short period of timeUnderstand and validate detailed requirements for testabilityProduce test plans and test cases for detailed and high level requirementsExecute manual testing across multiple systemsPerform post migration smoke testingAccurately assess impact of software defectsAdhere to IS Department policies best practices.Work successfully within an iterative SDLC environmentHelp in root cause analysis of persistent issuesMaintain and continuously improving a Logistics test bedContribute to the overall body of knowledge on Logistics processes and systemsSkills / Experience:Required SkillsMinimum 4 6 years of experience designing and executing test cases for functionally extensive systems across technical landscape2 year degree (or higher) in CS / IS or a related field +2 years related experience.Manual Testing Experience in a complex cross enterprise application landscape and processesAbility to develop a strong understanding of the domain, business processes and systems which are being testedStrong experience in in matured processes of Defect, Release, and Deployment managementHighly experienced in System, Integration, Regression, Performance/ Load testing, and conducting UAT with end users and providing Testing estimationsShould be well versed with QA documentation including: test plans, test scripts, release notes, UAT test scripts, Traceability Matrix, Testing progress reportsProven ability to successfully execute multiple QA jobs in parallel and working with Business users, Systems analysts and developers in an onsite offshore modelWork experience with reputed Test management & Defect tracking tools like JIRA and HP-Quality CentreShould have good knowledge about SDLC and STLC fundamentalsSkilled in SQL tools and ability to write basic SQL QueriesHigh learning agility.
