This is a next-gen technology product and part of the Post trade derivatives solutions offered by FIS.What you will be doingThis position works requires the individual to work within a SCRUM team and focus on below responsibilities:Responsible for quality of all modules within the team s spaceUnderstand and analyze system requirementsWrite strong end to end as well as CI effective atomic functional and non-functional tests for various technology and business layers of the application, using different test case development techniquesCarry out test execution across multiple technology levels using UI, API, Services, functional, regression and system integration tests.Develop test automation scripts for various application layers.Interact with local and global stakeholders including architects, product owners, developers, and other senior stakeholdersTroubleshoot existing manual and automated tests and help understand and bridge gaps in test coverageHelp build CI pipeline / plan for functional testingRegularly create and maintain test environmentsClearly report test statuses, risks, assumptions and test coverage preparation and execution details periodicallyClearly log defects and create and maintain test artifactsAdopt and embrace the right agile practices and spiritSupport business analysis and development practicesCreates test strategy and approachesContribute to performance testingContribute to training team membersOther related duties as neededWhat you bring:Knowledge / Experience / Skills / Qualifications / CompetenciesA Bachelor s degree in computer engineering or equivalent6+ years of relevant QA experienceGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood in OOPs concepts, Groovy, Java or equivalent test automation languagesGood in Selenium Web Driver and Maven frameworkExperience with Web-Services, API test automationExperience with SQLPrefer experience with Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket and CI technologiesGood understanding of testing practicesWorking knowledge of Agile practices, roles and the SDLCGood communication and solution driven approachSelf-driven individual and a definite team playerAdditional scripting languages like Perl, VBA, VBS, Jscript, etc.Good coaching and mentoring skillsGood understanding of Investment Banking domain, preferably Middle/Back office applicationsWhat we offer you
