Job Description

Desired skills and experience
  • Design and build state of the art systems to wrap legacy, isolate legacy components, build new functionality, and slowly and methodically hollow out the existing core
  • Deeply hands on, highly technical, and prides in being battle hardened, lead-from-the-front technology thought leaders
  • Architecting full stack solutions, including expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Architecture
  • Designing and leading engineering systems and DevOps, i.e., managing the process of building software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to change and manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to lead and mentor small teams in design and development efforts. Strong analysis and interpersonal skills is a necessity
  • Lead complex design sessions, work closely with customer and business partners to establish requirements in order to develop a given solution
  • Build proof of concepts, Design application using industry best practices and standards.
Technology Stack
  • Good Knowledge about IaaS/PaaSand Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure,OpenStack) or Native Development Platforms (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
  • Minimum 12+ years of solid experience in designing, developing and architecting solutions using Java/J2EE technology stack (Java 1.8+, Spring, Hibernate/Ibatis etc.)
  • Experience in RESTfulAPI design and implementation, including API documentation (Swagger/OAI, RAML), API versioning, Data formats (JSON, XML) and data serialization (Protobuf, Thrift)
  • Experience with microservicesarchitectures and constituent technologies (Spring Cloud). Containerization and container platforms. (e.g.Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShiftetc.), Event Driven Architectures and constituent technologies (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis) and patterns (Event Sourcing, CQRS, etc.)
  • Ability to design & lead UI solutions using latest javascriptframeworks such as Angular, React etc.
  • Good understanding of security concepts & experience of interacting and resolving risks raised by Security and/or Risk &Compliance teams.
  • Good knowledge about design patterns (Gof, J2EE, Microservices, Antipatternsetc.)
  • Experience in modern DevOpsworkflows (including tools such asGit, Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle), Containers (DockerandKubernetes) and PaaS(OpenShift, CloudFoundry)
  • Good understanding of testing and test automation of full stack solutions (behavior, unit, integration/system, e2e, load; e.g. with Cucumber, Selenium, Gatling, Karma, Jasmin, Jest, etc.)
  • Experience in agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
