    • EIIC functional excellence organization is aligned to CTO s strategy to drive One Eaton Engineering Functional Excellence . Charter of this organization is to simplify & create better work experiences for our Engineers by transforming existing engineering work processes. EIIC functional excellence organization will work with global Engineering Functional Excellence leaders in CTO s office, Electrical and Industrial Sector businesses.
    • Leader of Continuous Improvements (CI) and Engg. Information Management (EIM) will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement culture across the organization by leveraging Eaton Business System (EBS) and Eaton Lean Six Sigma Methodology (ELSS). This role will Identify CI opportunities and use prioritization techniques and drive the improvement programs for new product development, sustaining engineering and support functions using the proven tools and processes of Eaton business systems (EBS) and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS).
    • This role will also be responsible for to define and implementation of a state-of-the-art Engineering Information Management (EIM) system across the organization. This EIM systems/Tools would allow the easy-to-use collaboration on a Single Source of Truth for engineering data across teams and disciplines.
    Job Responsibilities
    • The candidate in this position is responsible to:
    • Facilitate development and deployment of Org-wide Eaton Lean/Six Sigma strategies resulting in implementation plans with SMART goals that are linked to business strategy and profit plan.
    • Serving as an ELSS deployment leader by coordinating and monitoring projects / implementation plans and driving accountability throughout the organization
    • Developing and implementing effective training plans for all levels of the organization that help develop and sustain a continuous improvement culture.
    • Conceptualize and Implement Engineering information management (EIM) within Product Development and specifically Systems Engineering that allows engineers to collaborate on a Single Source of Truth of complete engineering data.
    • Effectively integrating CIF (Continuous Improvement Framework) EBS Pull, ELSS assessment, OpA (Operations Assessment) and transferable practices, within the organization
    • identify applicable Lean tools in the given business environment and deploying them in an appropriate manner through training and Kaizen events
    • Drive automation & digitization projects for Engineering processes using appropriate tools such as Excel Macros, VBA, Python, PowerApps & other O365 tools. Continuously builds digital skills to simplify processes. Develops impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI and sharing those reports effectively using Microsoft Power Platform.
    • Conduct process health self-assessments, monitors assessment outcome and corrective action plans, and impact on business results.
    • Manage effective stakeholder communications. Improve organization responsiveness to stakeholder requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and commitments internal to the business.
    QualificationsRequirement:Education level required:
    • Required: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ SW Engineering. Strong understanding of organizational processes.
    Years and area of experience required:
    • 7-9 years experience in CI with a total experience of 10-12 years.
    Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of LEAN product development methodology
    • Hands on experience of working with product lifecycle management processes.
    • Solid understanding of Engineering information management processes
    • Prefer DfSS/ DMAIC certified Black Belt from reputed organization.
