Position : Specialist Software Engineer

We are currently seeking to hire Specialist Software Engineer to join our dynamic Data Integration RD engineering team in Pune. The Specialist Software Engineer would work as a part of the Engineering team to develop, enhance and maintain the Data Integration library of connectors being built for the AML product suite.

The purpose behind building a library of data connectors is to onboard customer faster increasing the speed to market for the Actimize product suite. The library of connectors being built uses cutting edge digital technologies to extract, transform and load the data encompassing on-premises and cloud solutions

Responsibilities :

• Design of software feature(s) according to agreed architecture and requirements
• Implementation of software features according to design
• Working with the PO/PM/Engineering teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure and meets the performance norms in-line with the non-functional specifications
• Develop quality, proficient and enterprise grade solutions
• Work as part of the development team towards the application in an aggressive deadline
• Develop Innovative ideas to address complex issues or future functionality
• Determine the optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse source system platforms and moving it to the data analytics environment
• Create pipeline to source data from variety of Source including both Batch and real time
• Ensure data governance policies and procedures extend into all data platforms
• Reviewing design and code for other team members
• Mentor/Guide the team technically
• Planning and performing testing to ensure fit to design/requirements and automate
• Conducting internal POCs/demos/trainings and assisting stakeholders in solutioning
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools
• Interface with various RD groups and with support tiers
• Defining relevant acceptance criteria for user stories based on product usage behavior

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering
• 8-12 years of experience working in software industry as a part of SW development team
• Good exposure to Financial Crime/Regulatory domain (AML)
• Data Integration background Should have exposure to loading data from batch and real time sources, Analyze and Understand relevant data, Validation of data, mapping of data to target data model and oversight of the data workflow
• Should have a strong background with an ETL tool/Data transformation (preferably Talend), AWS, Kubernetes/Containers and API.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Engine, or Azure
• Development experience with complex Database environments (Oracle / MSSQL) and good understanding of Data Modeling
• Should be familiar with data integration, data formats and reporting
• Good understanding of ETL process includes data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, reorganization, transformation, calculation, and loading of data
• Experience designing microservices and supporting them in production
• Design and Development experience using Java will be an added advantage
• Exposure to Kylo/Nifi/Hadoop 3.1 is a plus
• Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory and SALT
• Experience working on Actimize solutions or Anti Money Laundering, Case Management or Fraud Detection product will be an added advantage

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
