What you will be doingWe are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-growing infrastructure management team. The ideal candidate will have strong overall infrastructure experience, with extensive Linux, VMWare andvirtualisation skills. The core purpose of this role is to support and build the Linux environment supporting our financial Services business, which helps financial institutions make faster payments. This role will involve some elements of third line application support to both our clients and in-house staff. The successful candidate will gain experience of a wide variety of up-to-date technologies whilst working to structured deployment processes at some of the world s leading datacentre facilities and large blue-chip organisations. This is a technical position where applicants must show initiative and be able to problem-solve in an unsupervised environment. What you bring:Knowledge / Experience

• Minimum 7+ year s workexperience with RedHatLinux / Unix environment
• Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration with large scale Unix systems
• Extensive Linux, VMWare andvirtualisation skills, preferably RedHat certified

• Experience with RedHat 6.x and 7.x.
• Experience with Linux container technology
• Experience with SAN/ NAS storage
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of SSL, SMTP, DHCP, DNSand other networking protocols

• Experience with deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting multi-tier applications
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills, paying strong attention to detail
• Professional and responsible attitude with the ability to work without supervision
• Proven experience working within SLA s and an ITIL v3 framework
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment

• Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

Skills

• Linux server expertise
• Strong VMware virtualization
• Automation via Scripting (Bash/Shell, PowerShell, shell, python)

Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in working in ITIL framework

• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
• Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation
• Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team

• Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
