Assists Cayman team in managing and overseeing all financial , accounting , auditing and investment aspects of the fiduciary responsibilities related to the BNY Mellon s Offshore Fund Management subsidiary , BNY Mellon Fund Management (Cayman) Limited (BNY Mellon Cayman). Ensures review of financial statements , which include reviewing them from an IFRS and US GAAP perspective and providing comments on the Financial Statements , Liaise with auditors , Investment Manager & Sub Administrators in order to track and manage the audit process from start to finish. This includes reviewing audit engagement letters , audit representation letters , as well as representation letters from sub administrators and investment managers in order for the trustee to make the appropriate representations to the auditors. Monitor and review outsourced services of the sub administrators and Investment Manager of BNY Mellon Cayman to ensure adherence with established work practices and procedures , this includes IM s self certification of compliance with the investment management agreement and performing independent reviews of Charles River MIS investment reports and liaising with the IM for prompt investment breach resolution , Assist with FATCA / CRS filings with the Cayman Tax Authority and Semi Annual fund meetings as well as any other ad hoc projects from time to time. The ability to multi task , while maintaining complex schedules and managing BAU activities , is essential in this position , preference to have knowledge of U.S. and International GAAP , IFRS and worldwide investment products. Qualifications No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives , 5 to 7 years of relevant financial services experience , minimum 2 Years post qualification audit experience in the financial services industry.
