• Gain expertise in the product deployment technology and contribute to its evolution.
• Participate in various design discussions, understanding epic work
• Participate in test planning and execution activities
• Special focus on building automation to achieve maximum test coverage through it; implementation of CI pipelines using Jenkins etc.
• Continuously improvising on tests, identify test gaps and come-up with ways to bridge those gaps
• Interact with various stake-holders to execute on product goals
• Possess a strong desire for quality and test to break attitude
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:
• Minimum bachelor degree with experience in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering streams
• 2 to 6 years of work experience in software testing/development, with excellent python programming skills
• Good understanding and hands-on of CI/CD and automation tools. Experience working on automation project will be an added advantage.
• Strong QA knowledge with experience working on enterprise software products
• Hands on experience on installation and configuration of various operating systems (Solaris, AIX, RedHat, SUSE)
• Knowledge of Ansible will be added advantage
• Knowledge of cloud IaaS/PaaS a plus
• Basics of Storage Technology NAS, SAN, Arrays, etc. will be added advantage
• Storage, Networking, Virtualization, File Systems working knowledge
• Experience in identifying scenarios and writing test plans, test cases and execution, test bed creation
• Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
• Detect, report, and supervise software defects
• Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile product life cycle to identify defect and design flaws
• Collaborate with the development team to improve the quality of the deliverable and ensure the business needs are met
• Highly self-motivated, goal oriented, and self-directed
