Assist internal customers by sharing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming Advising and implementing AWS best practices Assist internal customers in infrastructure and application development Assist customer s architect in agile software development and DevOps Assist internal customer in implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deploymentAmazon aims to be the most customer centric company on earth. Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers critical applications for hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world.Key job responsibilitiesWe are looking for hands on architects/developers who are passionate about:Helping internal customers make decisions on their cloud journey and architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS servicesAssisting internal customers to architect and develop applications that are cloud optimizedWorking as a technical leader along side customer business, development and infrastructure teams.Assist internal customers by sharing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programmingAdvising and implementing AWS best practicesAssist internal customers in infrastructure and application developmentAssist internal customer s in agile software development and DevOpsAssist internal customers in implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment, o BS level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred; Masters Degree desired.o 15+ years of an application programming and/or hands-on technical application architecture experienceo 15+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.o Ability to travel to client locations as needed (25-50%) o Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environmento Experience with designing and building application using AWS services such as EC2, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS OpsWorkso Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availabilityo Hands on programing skills in any of the following: Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, .NET or Scalao Agile software development experto Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)o Hands on familiarity with CloudFormationo Experience with configuration management platforms (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible)o Strong scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.)o Strong practical application development experience on Linux and Windows-based systemso Extra curricula software development passion (e.g. active open source contributor)
