Job Description

Responsible for managing a small group of individual contributors within Business Process Analysis group. The Business Process Analysis (BPA) function is responsible for production support, system development, new business / fund activity, facilitating client onboarding, client & operational changes/dockets and major capital & functional projects. This role serves as a contact for IT and business during the elicitation, design, development, and testing phase of a project and critical production issues. Functional expertise is required. Conducts performance management, career development processes and staffing and disciplinary actions. 1. Document business requirements for management approval using defined project management methodologies and guidelines, Lead a project from design, through UAT and implementation 2. Consistently demonstrates expertise in projects and system upgrades, testing for large and small projects/changes, system changes and upgrades. 3. Utilize available subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agendas. 4. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams. 5. Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes / projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation. 6. Provides consulting to stakeholder(s) to identify and understand the issues, drivers, environment or business they support. 7. Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff 8. Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work. 9. Train, coach and mentor staff, Organise workload and team members in an efficient and effective manner 10. Provides input and support to budget management processA College or University degree and relevant proven work experience is required. IIBA Certification is advantageous. Self-starter with advanced analytical and problem solving skills Ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Strong organizational and time management skills Relevant product knowledge; experienced in consulting, analysis and change management. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with strong functional domain experience Demonstrates strong experience in change initiatives Strong leadership, management and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals, and manage and motivate team members towards the established goalsAdditional Information,
